Network Infrastructure and IA

Network Architecture & Infrastructure Support and Information Assurance (IA).  Providing (i) desktop and network IT support services, network architecture and managed services and (ii) IT vulnerability management and remediation are critical components of enterprise transformation projects.  At McKean, the Company focuses on ensuring that client networks and systems critical to the business are designed to meet the mission need, available, and secure

McKean staff includes network architects, server administrators, software applications specialists, and user support staff that cover the range of requirements. The Company’s network team is adept at improving current architectures and establishing processes to manage and maintain client infrastructures.  The team is also able to meld technical engineering mission requirements with the backbone required to support that mission.  With a constant eye on enhancements and positioning customers for transformation, McKean IT thought leaders support remote monitoring network design and implementation and help plan network migrations to enhance infrastructure efficiencies.

McKean further recognizes that security must be built into a system, and works at embedding these efforts early in a transformation lifecycle to contain costs and avoid missteps. With credentials and certifications in the Novell, Cisco, and Microsoft operating environments, and IA certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (“CISSP”) and Network+, McKean is able to help clients secure their systems and networks and prepare the associated documentation for certification and accreditation.  At times, this includes client training to help navigate the certification requirements and specification of Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) products that should be applied to improve security of the network environments
